2 Phoenix Theaters Putting Steampunk On Stage

Let it never be said that LO doesn’t have class, style, and culture – for today I write about theater!

Two classic fantasy tales are getting a steampunk twist on two stages here in Phoenix, so shine up your tiny little brass binoculars and work on your snobbiest accent.

Steampunk Wizard of Oz

This story almost begs to be steampunked.
(They promise not to go overboard on the goggles & giant wrenches though.)
The Spotlight Youth Theater out in Glendale has shows going all month.

Steampunk Alice In Wonderland

You know you want to see Steampunk Cheshire Cat.
I’m sure the rest of the gang will be geared out as well.
Shows start in October at The Desert Rose Theater in Mesa.
