Global Game Jam Begins [Tempe]
- I know very little about this except that the idea is to create a video game in 48hrs, based on a theme.

Future Cities Arizona [Phoenix]
- Some middle-school students recently designed some futuristic city models.
- They’re on display at the Burton Barr Library all weekend.
- Could be fun to take the kids.
- Cult Classics is playing the first Back To The Future movie.
- Do I really need to write anything else to convince you to go?
- Can’t say I’ve ever seen this favorite of mine on the big screen before.

Alice In Wonderland #1 Release Party [Glendale]
- You’ve never seen Alice like this before.
- (Ok, maybe you have. The internet is a big place.)
- Raven Gregory will be on hand to sign copies and talk about the new series.
- At Jesse James Comics from 11am throughout the day.
- Learn all about it.
- Hey ladies, time to don some reasonable armor (or chain-mail bikini, your choice) and start adventuring.
- Swing by Gotham City Comics around 12:30pm and learn some 4E.
