DESERTBASH X [LAN Party]

I bet event organizers love their 10th version of an event, because they get to use X instead of 10.

This weekend, DESERTBASH X gets to do just that, and they’re throwing a huge LAN party to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children Transportation fund, and the Valley of the Sun United Way.

This is a “Bring Your Own Computer” event, so even though I will mention this on Thursday’s post a solid heads up seemed in order since you’d be tearing down your own machine and taking it.

Also, today is the last day to save a few bucks by ordering online, otherwise  just get your tickets at the door.

• Plenty of gaming tournaments, prizes, and fun.

Don’t want to play, but want to check it out anyway? Wandering around and enjoying the event is free. Only participating requires a ticket.

It’s for a good cause and it’s a LAN party, so it should make for a satisfying weekend.
