Geek It Up At A Fake Protest [Upcoming Event]
Everyone loves a good protest now and then, and it’s a sacred right we are blessed with in this country.
So, why not have a protest just because you can?
Arizona’s Flash Mob aficionados, Arizona Improv, are organizing and hosting a fake protest April 9th from 1pm to 1:30pm in Phoenix, and your light-hearted, ridiculously misplaced anger is more than welcome to join them.
The idea is, of course, to be silly – not to actually protest anything. I get the impression any actual outrage might be frowned upon at this event, so I’d just stick to being ironic, obscure, or full of non sequiturs.
Personally, I think it would be fun to infuse a heavy geek influence into the mix if you can make it.
Here are some sign ideas that came to me:
- End the Bugger War!
- God hates time travel paradox’s!
- Schrodinger’s Bill SHOULD pass, Schrodinger’s Bill should NOT pass.
- Cylons are (sometimes) people too!
