Halo Pic by: commorancy

This weekend, Arizona racks up the frags, tears things apart, laughs at aliens, and teaches you Magic.

Sheesh, sounds like this weekend has kind-of-a primal wildness to it.

(Perhaps it’s seen the edge of space – and gone mad.)

Have fun, y’all! I’ll see you Saturday night at Gamers’ Inn, no?

Friday, Jan 28th

  • Begin fulfilling your more primal urges by literally tearing things apart.
  • Join hackers HeatSync Labs in curiously opening up some electronics, and playing with their guts.
  • Some items this time around include a quadrocopter and some joysticks.

  • Sign-ups start at 2pm and the fraggage begins at 3:00pm

  • Facebook event here.

YAllapalooza 2011 [Tempe]

  • A slew of YA authors are popping out of their author-caves to gather at Changing Hands Bookstore.
  • And when I say slew, I mean slew.
  • Chances are you’ve at least heard of some of these books, so if you’re curious, this could be a great official introduction.
  • Get YAur details here. (That didn’t work so well.)
  • Oh, and free pizza!

The Alien Warrior Comedian [Mesa]

  • Here in Arizona from a distant planet, investigating humanity.
  • Submit to your doom at 8pm at Gamers’ Inn.
  • Admission is free, but space is limited (show up early).
  • Learn more details about the Alien Warrior comedian.
  • I want to meet some of you here, so let me know if you’re coming.

MTG: Intro To Magic  [Mesa]

  • Perhaps you’ve heard some buzz about Mirrodin Besieged, but don’t know how to play Magic?
  • Atomic Comics in Mesa is here to help out once again this weekend.
