Well, I’m as giddy as a schoolgirl (the sexy anime kind) to finally announce that I’ll be officially blogging for the Phoenix Comicon this year.
It’s difficult to explain how surreal it is to think that earlier last year my wife and I wandered into the 2010 Phoenix Comicon for the first time (our first con ever actually) with wide nerdy eyes. We were both pretty star struck when we bumped into Jonathan Frakes, and had Daniel Davis draw a picture of Beastio in our Monster Commute book.
Now I actually get to be a part of it!
I don’t have all the details yet, but let’s just say I’ve blocked out the entire weekend to practically live downtown so I can cover as much as possible.
It’s no secret that the Phoenix Comicon was a huge inspiration for me taking this adventure into Arizona’s geek culture, so it’s exciting to be able to give back a little and help out. And if we’re lucky, my wife will be able to tag along some and take some gorgeous photos.
So, what do you think? Any advice?
Anything you want me to specifically make sure get’s covered?
